FDA approved for cosmetic facial contouring, Sculptra is Doctor Olson's preferred filler for the hollow temple areas.

Doctor Olson has used Sculptra since it's FDA approval in 2004 Sculptra is not wrinkle filler, but instead adds volume to the face which has lost fat or bone due to aging or HIV associated lipodystrophy. This is long-lasting building filler in which Poly- L-Lactic Acid (a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer that is used in absorbable sutures) is injected by Doctor Olson. This stimulates your own body to produce its own new collagen. Collagen that you keep until it is lost naturally. Sculptra continues to stimulate new collagen for 6 months to a year. Doctor Olson will evaluate your results with you to determine how many treatments you will need to achieve your desired volume and shape. You will experience some "delayed gratification" while your body begins its new collagen production, but your result will be worth the wait! Sculptra may be used in conjunction with more immediate fillers to build a longer lasting architecture to the face. It may also be used to create better structure for a stronger chin, jaw-line, and cheek bone.

Doctor Olson is a National Education Faculty Trainer and consultant selected by Allergan to train other physicians in the administration of BOTOX. Experienced with BOTOX since 1992, she has published papers and medical book chapters and spoken nationally on advanced treatment with BOTOX. She is also a faculty trainer and speaker for Dysport, Restylane and Perlane.
Jane Olson MD, Ophthalmic Facial Plastic Surgery. Doctor Olson is board certified and is fellowship trained as an oculofacial plastic surgeon. She is a fellow of the prestigeous American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) with fewer than 500 fellows nationwide. She was awarded 2009 AAO Teaching Award for her contributions to laser surgery.
