Doctor Olson has used Sculptra since it's FDA approval in 2004 Sculptra is not wrinkle filler, but instead adds volume to the face which has lost fat or bone due to aging or HIV associated lipodystrophy. This is long-lasting building filler in which Poly- L-Lactic Acid (a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer that is used in absorbable sutures) is injected by Doctor Olson. This stimulates your own body to produce its own new collagen. Collagen that you keep until it is lost naturally. Sculptra continues to stimulate new collagen for 6 months to a year. Doctor Olson will evaluate your results with you to determine how many treatments you will need to achieve your desired volume and shape.
